Drew was a great friend…

Drew was a great friend.  He always found ways to make everyone in the room laugh and feel at ease.  I'll never forget when he made our entire high school class erupt into laughter after saying science has gone too far with the invention of the GPS.  

I will never forget the first day of my first semester at Boston University and feeling like I was alone and out of place.  Down a crowded sidewalk on Commonwealth Avenue, I saw Drew's beaming smile and heard him calling out my name.  From that day on I knew college would not be nearly as hard because I had Drew looking out for me.  

I will never forget Drew.  The picture I included is from our prom senior year.  The smile Drew wears here is exactly how I will always choose to remember him.  It's the same smile he gave everyone with his ridiculous jokes and the same one that I saw beaming through a crowded sidewalk on Commonwealth Ave.

I truly thank God that He allowed Drew and I to cross paths for what little time we have here on earth and I am so happy to know that he is now wrapped in the beaming light of Christ.
